Subject: Question about environment variables
Whether the sponsor can modify the environment variables before the bot compiles and runs?

e.g.
export LIBRARY_PATH=$LIBRARY_PATH:~/mydir/lib
export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=$LD_LIBRARY_PATH:~/mydir/lib

    Here is what I do.

Add to .bashrc for building robots:
    export TORCS_BASE=/home/daniel/torcs/torcs-1.3.8-test1
    export MAKE_DEFAULT=$TORCS_BASE/Make-default.mk

I'm sorry for my vague expression. I mean could I write a Readme or xxx.sh(linux shell executables file) to ask other competitors to modify environment variables before building my bot?
      e.g
please add to .bashrc for building robots:
      export xxxx

Thank you for your response to my inquiry.

I personally wouldn't let a robot do this. Even if asked politely and I know it's not dangerous ;)
